Jessica (our granddaughter) got busy with my stamps one afternoon and created this cute card...so cute!

and here it is again, closed.

Here's another Jessica original...so cute!

My SU guru, Adriana's birthday came up and I had to do something special for her, so came up with this card. I think she liked it.

Well, as you can see, I've been busy quilling. I had a class last Monday and came up with a quilled pumpkin and then after it was over, all the little pumpkins looked so nice, I decided to make eleven more for our family Thanksgiving dinner table. That was fine and I thought, "My, I ought to make a big one for the center of the table! Voila! I was very happy with the result.

I had this wonderful cs with a hole in it and some stars left over from the other card, so made up this one too.
This is a close up of the star...just put dimensionals on it to give it a little "pop".

OCC Sketch Challenge

I thought I'd enter this card in the OCC colour sketch challenge...actually, I made a couple of cards last week for my American friends' fourth of July. I haven't heard from them but I hope they received them b4 the 4th. Snail mail from Canada to the US can be slow.

We're having a family day...actually, its Christmas in July (since we couldn't all get together in December because of the weather). Its next weekend and I really hope the weather is better than it has been. Today is sunny, but in the 60's, so not too conducive for swimming. Oh well.
Here's the inside of the invite.

Found Clear Dollar Stamps...and love them! I needed to get more "kiddie friendly" stamps... "Just another reason to buy more stamps, Honey!" :D

I did this at a stampin' class in Florida...LOVE purple and pink!

and another....

and another...

Here's another

This is one of the card packs we sold.

This is all done with punches. First, I wet the cs and wrinkled it into a ball, opened it out and let it dry...creating the textured effect.

Did this front about 3 years ago, then decided to do a little cleaning and found it...mounted it and LOVE IT! (cutting and pasting and layers)

Mother's Day Card for OCC challenge

Yea! After a few trys, I think I've got it! I must do this more often.

May Days

Its sunny and beautiful out!...I put the laundry on the line this morning and then downloaded a card I did for the OCC Mother's Day challenge. Now, how did I download the other pics?!?!?! I'll figure it out 'cause I've got lots of pics to put on.

My daughter, Michelle and I made packs of cards to sell at her boys' school "Silent Auction" and they brought in about $50.00, I think. So glad people like them enough to buy them! OK, now, let me try to figure this out.....

This is a card I did for my neice's birthday. The stamps I used were Stampin Up and I stamped the cat on the inside, then cut out the triangle on the front...added a ribbon, and "voila".

This is an oil pastel I did of our beautiful dog, Oscar. He is waiting to see us in doggie heaven.

I did this card for an OCC sketch challenge. I've been stamping for about nine years and just got into the challenges...lots of fun.

Hello

Well, this morning, I've set up a blogspot. I'm not too sure how I did this, but for a "newbie" I guess I've succeeded.

I am a wife (of one handsome and intelligent man), mother (of two beautiful daughters), mother-in-law (of two handsome and intelligent sons (in-law) and grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren (four sweet boys/one sweet girl). Oh yes, I must mention, I am a daughter of the King and love Him very much!

I caught the stamping bug about eight years ago and haven't been able to shake it yet. I've turned my laundry room into my stampin studio/laundry room and although its small, I love to spend time here. The window faces east and I'm usually up at 6:00 a.m. (can't sleep - gotta stamp!), so I get to watch the sun rise while creating. I have a group of friends who meet every Wednesday at our Stampin Up Lady, Adriana's house and we spend our afternoons laughing, stamping and just enjoying one another.

Well, hope I haven't bored you all with my ramblings.
